Winning the War; Valid Raids

Post by lbs21 on October 21st 2016, 16:23

Ten successful wins at either base will constitute a victory for that team. Extreme disregard for the war rules may also constitute a win, but this must be decided by an unbiased party that both groups have agreed to let judge. LCD will be defending a Roblox game place that is known as "L.C.D. Headquarters", place ID 57694821. Should the opposing group successful win ten valid raids ("valid raid" is a term defined below) at this place, they will have won the war and LCD shall admit defeat to the opposing group. Conversely, the opposing group will be defending an as of yet unknown Roblox game. This game must be fair for the raiders. Fairness of a fort will be defined and enforced in a passage below.

A valid raid is any raid that meets any four of five conditions (A, B, C, D, and E) directly below:
A) It has been scheduled ("scheduled" is a term defined below) four hours in advance that fall within as-of-yet unnegotiated time brackets, that shall be created to prevent raiding at unreasonable times.
a) Scheduled for the opposing group means that LCD Commander Shagabash, LCD Vice Commander Galenos, and all LCD Overseers, (a list currently totaling seven people) have been notified at this time. Scheduling will be official once the last message to any one of those persons has been sent. Should sending these messages to some persons be impossible via Roblox PM, all other applicable people must be messaged, and the last one of those persons messaged will constitute the time of when a raid has been officially scheduled.
b) Scheduled for LCD means that an unspecified group of members will receive Roblox PMs. If a list of five to seven people is not set before active hostilities begins, then the five highest-ranking members in the opposing group will be messaged, and this will constitute scheduling. Otherwise, if a list of five to seven people is set, those people will be messaged. Scheduling will be official once the last message to any one of those persons has been sent. Should sending these messages to some persons be impossible via Roblox PM, all other applicable people must be messaged, and the last one of those persons messaged will constitute the time of when a raid has been officially scheduled.
c) Alternatively, a raid may be scheduled by either side by contacting a HR (For LCD or TSL, any people listed above) from the defending side and receiving explicit agreement that this raid may be held. Please record valid proof of this, as if there is a dispute, the burden of proof will fall on the attacking side.
B) It has not been scheduled three hours in advance, but there is at least five defenders ("defenders" being defined as the opposing group should place 57694821 not be the one being raided, and LCD should place 57694821 have a request to be raided) gathered who have agreed to defend their respective places, as well as one high-ranking member ("High-ranking member" being defined as any member of LCD who is rank Coordinator or above, should LCD be the defenders, and as of yet unset for the opposing group) who has agreed to defend their respective places. Agreement is required.
C) It has a sufficient number of attackers ("attackers" being defined as LCD should place 417309452 have a request to be raided, and members of the opposing group should place 417309452 not have a request to be raided that is currently being carried out.).
D) It meets at least one of the following two conditions (a or b) and must not meet a specific condition (condition c):
a) It is the first raid of that day ("Day" being defined as one cycle from 23:59 CST to 00:00 CST) on place 417309452 or it is the first raid of that day on the opposing group’s place.
b) It occurs after valid raid from the opposing group and before the next raid, and the highest present member of both LCD and TSL agree to further raiding. To clarify, this means that the opposing group is raiding after LCD recently raided (and before the opposing group raided back), or LCD is raiding after the opposing group recently raided (and before LCD raided back).
c) It is the third raid on the opposing group’s place or place 57694821 within that day.
E) It takes place at least twenty-four hours after the signing of this contract by the opposing group.

Attackers may, if they desire, during the course of a valid raid, request to switch spawns, teams, currency, or gear at either 57694821 or the opposing team’s place. If teams are switched, attackers will guard the fort and defenders will raid the fort. This is an effort to keep forts fair; the same privilege goes out to all other groups for place 57694821. In the sections below, a “normal raid” refers to any raid where the teams were not switched.

A raid is won, and the attacking team receives one win, when two of the following four conditions (A, B, C, or D) have been met:
A) It is considered a valid raid, as defined above.
B) There has been significant admin abuse, as defined below.
C) Assuming a normal raid, the attackers successfully held the flag or the terminal for twenty minutes.
D) Assuming the teams have been switched, the raid was considered a valid raid ninety or more minutes ago, or the number of attackers at 57694821 or the opposing group’s place has dropped below five.

A raid has concluded, and neither team receives any wins, when two of the five following conditions (A, B, C, D, or E) have been met:
A) It is considered a valid raid, as defined above.
B) Assuming a normal raid, the raid was considered a valid raid ninety or more minutes ago.
C) Assuming a normal raid, the number of attackers has dropped below five at 57694821 or the opposing group’s place.
D) Assuming the teams have been switched, the flag was captured by the raiders and held for twenty minutes.
E) There has been significant exploitation at either the opposing groups place or 57694821.

If a raid is requested but not scheduled, then the defenders must make a reasonable attempt to rally a sufficient number of troops. This includes using the group shout feature of Roblox, as well as any other mode of communication common to that group, as well as not dismissing members from any Roblox games.
